GGS is thrilled to introduce you to the newest member of the faculty, Dr. Dan Payne! Dr. Payne brings a wealth of experience in business, the classroom, and in ministry, most recently creating two core courses in our forthcoming Certificate of Spiritual Formation program.

Welcome Dan Payne!
If the message emphasized what you need to do rather than what #Christ has done, then you heard the #law, not #Grace.
Wherever we find rest, we know that Love has preceded it.
Unfiltered, undiluted GRACE!
Many birthday blessings to the one and only, Academic Dean Bill Winn!
How tragically impoverished our reading of #Scripture becomes when we engage it as less than it is. It was meant to be a prayer that locates us within the life of the #Trinity, not a manual, handbook, or perhaps the most ignorant of all acronyms, ‘basic instructions before leaving earth.’

In the #Psalms, we find our own hearts given language—grief, hope, adoration, confusion, joy—all lifted into communion with the One who listens no matter how true the words are. Scripture speaks through us when we stop trying merely to explain it and begin to let it pray through us.
“Belief in a cruel God makes a cruel man.”
