Derived from the Latin, ‘deservire,’ meaning to merit by service, and later the Middle English, ‘deserven’, which means to be entitled to something based on one’s actions, it’s not about what we ‘deserve’, for that word hinges on what we can produce or merit by our own effort.

Seeing as we are inexhaustibly loved by Love himself, I’ll take ‘belovedness’ over ‘deserve’ any day of the week…and twice on Sundays. 😉

Jeremiah 31:3
1 John 4:7-21
Brethren, the Gospels still matter! Written AFTER the Epistles, they depict the entirety of Incarnation, conception through ascension. They are not ‘old covenant’, but NEW COVENANT recountings for a NEW COVENANT PEOPLE of two covenants—old and new—colliding.

The Epistles present the accomplished reality of living as a new creation.

The Gospels paint a picture of how Jesus is the forerunner (and indeed the carrier, source, and distributor) of that new humanity, dropping subtle and not-so-subtle hints as to the radical shift Incarnation will unveil.

They are not in contradiction. They exist in complimentary union.

I’ll be meditating on this amazing quote from Don for several days. So good!
The greatest tragedy of fundamentalism is that it depicts God the Father as at worst, callous, and at best, indifferent. SKUBALA!

HE IS NOT AN ABSENTEE PARENT!

Step into your calling as a Christ-centered encourager, equipped not with pressure to fix others, but with the grace to walk beside them.

The Certificate in Grace Coaching at Global Grace Seminary is a transformative program rooted in a Trinitarian, Christocentric, and Grace-Based theological framework. More than just another coaching model, this program reimagines coaching through the lens of divine inclusion, where worth is revealed—not earned—and transformation flows from awareness, not striving.

Grace Coaching is about awakening others to the truth of who they already are in Christ. It’s about helping people see that they are not distant from God, not broken beyond repair, and certainly not disqualified. This program trains you to be a gentle guide, a mirror of divine affirmation, and a voice that reminds others of the union they already share with the Triune God.

You’ll learn how to:
- Integrate a theology of grace into every coaching conversation
- Practice deep listening that honors the Spirit at work in each person
- Cultivate sacred space where shame melts and identity is rediscovered
- Apply coaching tools from a non-controlling, non-anxious presence
- Help others experience lasting change rooted in belonging, not behavior

Whether you’re a pastor, counselor, experienced coach, or simply someone who wants to walk more intentionally with others, this certificate will deepen your own understanding of grace while sharpening your ability to companion others with compassion and clarity.

Discover what it means to coach from a place of union, not separation. From rest, not effort. From Christ in you, not just a toolkit.
